Christmas Concert of the Freising Music School: Reflective Sounds in a Festive Atmosphere
When the Advent season reaches Freising, the Freising Music School invites you to a special concert experience at the St. Peter and Paul Neustift monastery church. On December 4, 2026, numerous young musicians will create a Christmas hour filled with warmth, timbres, and shared anticipation.
A Musical Break in Advent
The Christmas concert combines festive music with the special acoustics and the atmospheric ambiance of the church. Between gentle string sounds, clear wind tones, and the warm reverberation of the church space, a live atmosphere is created that invites reflection and offers a quiet moment against the hectic pre-Christmas season.
Young Talents, Great Sound
The program features various ensembles from the Freising Music School. Among them are the PagaMinis led by Yana König, as well as the junior orchestra and the ensemble stringendo led by Ursula Bongard. The different formations showcase the musical diversity of the music school and combine youth promotion with a festive stage performance.
Orchestration and Making Music Together
From chamber music transparency to the fullness of the orchestra, the evening thrives on the precise synchronization of many young musicians. The interplay of violins, violas, cellos, double basses, and other instruments creates Christmas music in varying sound images. Conducting, ensemble work, and careful musical preparation meet the immediate energy of a live concert.
Free Admission: Music for the Whole Family
Admission to the Christmas concert is free. Therefore, the evening is particularly suitable for families, music school members, and anyone who wants to experience a festive concert hour with young talents in Freising. The St. Peter and Paul monastery church provides an impressive setting with plenty of space for focused listening and reflective audience atmosphere.
