The Freising cult band presents their characteristic New Orleans sound together with guest star Colin Dawson.
Between Blues, Dixieland, and Crescent City Groove
The unmistakable sound of New Orleans jazz is in the foreground: springy rhythms, warm brass colors, and improvised dialogues that develop from note to note. The Storyville Shakers combine classical jazz tradition with a vibrant stage performance, bringing the spirit of Dixieland, blues, and early swing to life.
A Guest Star with Trumpet and Vocals
With Colin Dawson, the gala evening gains a special musical color. The trumpeter and singer collaborates with the well-rehearsed formation of the Storyville Shakers, creating space for spontaneous interactions, precise synchronization, and electrifying solos. It is this immediate communication between the brass players and rhythm section that defines the excitement of a true jazz concert.
