Where the Good Life Becomes Visible in Freising
The exhibition I'm Doing Well Here! presents the results of the photography contest of vhs Freising. The focus is on personal places of well-being: spots where people can breathe, gather strength, and be completely themselves.
Photographic Views on Health and Well-being
The photographs open individual perspectives on Freising and its surroundings. Nature, familiar urban spaces, and quiet retreats appear as visual expressions of health and well-being. Each image tells how closely aesthetic experience, memory, and personal feeling are interconnected.
A Photography Contest as Cultural Education
In 2026, vhs Freising dedicates its programs to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. In autumn and winter, the theme of health and well-being takes center stage. The photography contest translates this social focus into an accessible form of cultural education: a communal exhibition arises from personal perceptions.
Art Exploration Between Everyday Life and Atmosphere
The exhibition invites visitors to consciously perceive photographic decisions: the handling of light, color, perspective, and spatial effect. In the exploration of the works, it becomes apparent how everyday situations acquire new significance through the photographic lens. This creates an exhibition atmosphere that stimulates reflection on personal sources of strength and livable places.
Invitation to an Art Experience at vhs Freising
The presentation connects photography, local ties, and societal questions. Visitors encounter a multifaceted view of Freising and may rediscover their personal places of well-being.
Conclusion: The exhibition makes visible what people associate with a good life. Those who want to experience Freising from personal, poetic, and photographic perspectives will find an inspiring exhibition and a unique aesthetic experience here.
