Going into the Day Embraced: A Quiet Morning on the Cathedral Hill
As the day begins, a spiritual impulse provides space for inner reflection, prayer, and renewed hope. In the Mary’s Mantle Chapel of the Diocese Museum Freising, silence, light, and spiritual guidance combine to create a religious experience that brings peace to body and soul.
Impulse, Silence, and Light
The morning is focused on a mindful practice of faith. A spiritual impulse opens access to personal thoughts, questions, and hopes. The subsequent silence invites participants to consciously perceive their faith and begin the day from a moment of contemplation.
Spiritual Care and Community
The program is designed by pastoral caregiver Stephan Kaupe in collaboration with the Freising Deanery. The DIMU social fund's offering combines pastoral attention with an open, welcoming environment. People from diverse religious backgrounds find here an opportunity for prayer, inner reflection, and community connection.
A Special Place for Religious Experience
The Mary’s Mantle Chapel creates a focused atmosphere for peace and spiritual orientation. The interplay of light, art, and silence supports personal spirituality and transforms the visit into a conscious faith experience. The Cathedral Hill provides a historically rich backdrop in the heart of Freising.
Participation and Registration
Participation is possible without a fixed admission fee. A donation for the DIMU social fund is welcome. Registration is requested via email at kunstvermittlung@dimu-freising.de.
