Lovely building. There is a fantastic wine bar that faces Marienplatz. Beware the restaurant in the inner courtyard. Some of the staff wearing lederhosen are extremely rude.

Modern, renovated & comfortable theater hall (elevated from about row 15) in a great baroque ambiance. On the upper floor, with elevator. Good acoustics, spacious catering area with many standing tables. Ladies' restrooms with a queue during intermission...

The Asam building is accessible again! The tourist office, local museum, and part of the gastronomy invite you to a lovely experience. Many different cultural events are offered in the hall, and there is a separate program for this. The long wait was worth it, as a guest I enjoy Freising's hospitality several times a year and have witnessed the overall positive development in the old town. Alongside the redesign of the city center, now the restored Asam building, another highlight in the anniversary year. A vacation or a day visit is definitely worth it here.

We spontaneously set off to Pellmaier's Passion at the Asam Theater. Beautiful event hall in the heart of the old town with a great annual program. The head of the cultural office, Mr. Bader, was there himself and charmingly took care of the guests. A lovely place with a personal atmosphere, thank you Freising.
