Awesome for a Beer Minkey to drink at the world's oldest continuous brewery (1040!). The restaurant was actually quite good, not only to look at and sit outside but also the food and service too. The beer was great! Highly recommend it if you love beer, history and just being Germanic 😋. And if you are in a campervan like us, you can park for the night for free, just below the restaurant hidden in the woods!

Awesome detailed brewery tour. Had to book in advance by emailing the brewery. Glad we were in town on the day that the tour was in English. Beer tasting at the end is a great end.

Did an English tour while in Munich, Weihenstephan is my favorite wheat beer that I can get in the states. So this was a pilgrimage of sorts for me. The guides were awesome and knowledgeable. English tours are only offered on certain days so you need to book early. The tour ends around lunchtime and I would recommend their restaurant for lunch. I used public transportation from Munich to get to the brewery and it took about an hour. I only had one negative takeaway, during tasting they offered their Vitus bier… of course it was awesome, but I don’t believe I can get it in the States! All jokes aside the place is filled with nice people. Don’t miss this opportunity if you are in Bavaria.

Good food and drinks, nice ambience. Panos really made the experience as he was an excellent waiter. Very happy with everything from him.

I am not a big fan of Weihenstephan beer, that is why only 4 stars. However, it is a great experience to take a tour here, plus if you have a group of people, they can offer you a tour in English, but you better book it in advance as I do not think it is available every day. The best part of the tour is of course trying different types of beer they brew there. We were even allowed to keep a tiny weissbier glass afterwards!
