Junkers Café Fischergasse Freising | Menu & Barista Course

The Junkers Café Fischergasse Freising is more than just a place for a quick coffee. The location combines café, roastery, cake manufactory, and event venue at Fischergasse 4 and clearly positions itself as a meeting point for breakfast, lunch breaks, barista courses, and cultural evenings. The homepage primarily focuses on the carefully sourced coffee: fair trade, mostly organic certified, lovingly prepared, and in an ambiance described as warm, creative, and personal. At the same time, the team offers homemade cakes and pastries, a breakfast menu, and small lunch dishes. This blend makes the café attractive for searches related to menu, photos, coffee roastery, address, or barista course, as users are not just looking for a classic café, but an experience with personality. The Junkers Café is thus a good example of a modern gastro-location that combines craftsmanship, regionality, and quality of stay. ([junkerscafe.de](https://www.junkerscafe.de/))

Menu, Breakfast, and Lunch Dishes at Fischergasse

Those looking for the menu will find a wide range of offerings at Junkers Café, ranging from early breakfast to lunch. According to the official menu, breakfast is served until 4 PM, and reservations are recommended on weekends. The menu features classic and modern variants side by side: Vital breakfast vegetarian, Junkers breakfast for 2, white sausage breakfast with pretzel and sweet mustard, croissant, roll with organic butter, various bowls, Bircher porridge with fruit, and egg dishes served from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Extras such as sautéed vegetables, bacon, onions, bell peppers, or tomatoes can be added, allowing many plates to be customized. This variety is important as it makes the café interesting for different target groups: early risers, families, couples enjoying weekend breakfasts, people craving something hearty, and guests looking for a lighter plant-based option. Besides breakfast, the lunch menu also shapes the offerings. Here, you can find flammkuchen in vegetarian or classic variants, quiche with salad bowl, salad bowl, and pinsa with various toppings. The combination of sweet, savory, hearty, and plant-based ensures that the café works not only for a coffee stop but also for longer stays, business lunches, or a relaxed afternoon with friends. Homemade Cakes, Regional Suppliers, and Special Specials

A central search term around the Junkers Café is cake, and this is where the handwriting of the location is particularly evident. The official website emphasizes that the cakes and pastries are homemade; the menu is complemented by daily changing cake slices and daily changing fruit cakes or tortes. The menu also describes that gluten-free or vegan cakes are available and that the selection is influenced by Denise and Patrick's mother, Sonja. This gives the offering a familial and artisanal touch that goes far beyond standard café fare. Also important is the regional supply chain: The suppliers' page mentions, among others, bakery Geisenhofer, butcher Stuhlberger, eggs and vegetables Michael Kattner, tea paradise Freising, Kasdandler Freising, Jacques’ wine depot, Chefs Culinar, Fernands flammkuchen, and other partners. Additionally, products such as organic butcher Tagwerk from Freising, Stöger organic apple juice, Zierer fresh milk, Gustus fresh cheese, and homemade jam appear on the menu. This is interesting for SEO and for guests alike, as it shows how strongly the café collaborates with regional and artisanal partners. Those looking for breakfast in Freising, for cake in Fischergasse, or for a location with an honest ingredient philosophy will find clear added value here: no anonymous mass-produced goods, but a selection with provenance, seasonal variation, and visible love for detail. ([junkerscafe.de](https://www.junkerscafe.de/hausgemachte-kuchen/?utm_source=openai))

Coffee Roastery, Beans, and Quality Promise

The second major anchor of the location is the coffee itself. The official site emphasizes that the coffee is sourced from the Junkers coffee roastery, is fair trade, and is mostly organic certified. In the description of its own roasting, it is also stated that roaster Michael Junker sources his raw coffee from List & Beisler in Hamburg and that currently beans from India, Honduras, Burundi, Guatemala, Colombia, and Brazil are processed. Particularly exciting for coffee fans is the gentle roasting process: the beans are refined just below 200 degrees, and the roasting process lasts between 17 and 21 minutes. This slow, controlled processing ensures, according to the website, that chlorogenic acid and bitter substances are largely removed, allowing the coffee to develop a more individual aroma. For guests, this means not only good taste but also a more conscious coffee experience with more depth and less haste. In practice, this fits the entire positioning of the house: premium-oriented, yet approachable; artisanal, yet uncomplicated; enjoyable, yet not elitist. Those searching for Junkers Café roastery, coffee in Freising, or barista-oriented gastronomy will find a location here that not only serves coffee but also explains and takes it seriously. This makes the café relevant for connoisseurs, learners, and anyone who wants a truly good hot drink at the center of their visit. ([junkerscafe.de](https://www.junkerscafe.de/))

Barista Course Freising Fischergasse: Latte Art, Tasting, and Practice

A strong unique selling point is the barista course. The official course page first asks about the basics of coffee, the journey from seedling to roasted bean, flavor-defining factors, and the differences between preparation methods. This is followed by the practical part, where latte art is practiced. Additionally, the website mentions a structure of basics and expertise about coffee, presentation and Q&A, breaks with snacks and drinks, as well as practical exercises. The current course concept also includes a coffee tasting. The course costs 129 euros per person, is intended for groups of 5 to a maximum of 10 people, and lasts about 3.5 hours. This makes the offering very tangible, both for individual interested parties and for small teams or groups of friends. For SEO, this area is extremely relevant, as users often search not only for the café itself but explicitly for barista course Freising Fischergasse or latte art. Content-wise, the course also strengthens the image of the location: the team demonstrates knowledge, craftsmanship, and joy in explaining. At the same time, the format fits gift ideas, vouchers, and team-building events. So, for those who do not just want to drink a coffee but want to understand how a good drink is created from bean, milk, and technique, the Junkers Café offers a place with both educational character and enjoyment factor. Contrast Program, Cultural Evenings, and Event Location

Under the term contrast program, the Junkers Café develops a second identity as a cultural meeting point. The official page warmly invites artists, musicians, authors, and performers to be part of a varied cultural year. Concerts, readings, performances, and spoken word are mentioned, which are exactly the formats that can transform a café into a small stage in the evening. The page also describes that the events usually take place once a month, often around the middle of the month on a Friday or Saturday evening. This is a strong signal for search intent around programs, events, or culture in Freising, as the location shows that it thinks beyond the classic gastronomy business. Additionally, the café offers its spaces outside of opening hours for celebrations, weddings, events, and birthdays. For searches related to unusual locations, event venues, or room rentals, this is particularly relevant, as here not only a room is offered, but an already atmospherically charged environment. Those planning a celebration with café character, charm, and independent style will find an option here that clearly differs from neutral banquet rooms. The interplay of gastronomy, stage, and private rental makes the Junkers Café a versatile location that is cozy during the day and can take on a completely different character in the evening or outside of opening hours. ([junkerscafe.de](https://www.junkerscafe.de/kontrastprogramm/?utm_source=openai))

Photos, Ambiance, and the Creative Living Room

For many seekers, photos are often the first point of contact with a location, and here too, the Junkers Café provides a clear visual identity. The official website describes the rooms as a creative living room with modern wooden tables, soft cushions, warm colors, and small artistic details. Additionally, there is an open counter with cakes, coffee, and lovingly arranged small items that make craftsmanship and personality visible. In summer, colorful flowers are mentioned as a friendly accent outside in the small alley, rounding off the image of an inviting, lively city café. The team page also emphasizes that clever and creative minds work together as a circle of friends, making the atmosphere appear human and approachable. This is exactly why the location works so well for photos and social media content: it’s not just about food, but about mood, color, texture, and real quality of stay. That reviews and photos online play an important role is also shown by RestaurantGuru, which currently lists 171 photos and videos for the Junkers Café. This visual presence is particularly relevant for the search terms photos and fotos, as guests like to assess the interior, cake selection, and flair before a visit. The café offers a strong visual language: cozy instead of sterile, handmade instead of interchangeable, friendly instead of over-staged. ([junkerscafe.de](https://www.junkerscafe.de/))

Address, Directions, and Parking at Fischergasse

The address is clear and easy to remember: Junkers Café Fischergasse 4, 85354 Freising. The official website refers to Fischergasse as the location, and several directories list the complete address. For searches like Fischergasse 4 Freising, directions, or parking, this point is crucial, as the location is thus situated in the city center of Freising and can be easily integrated into a city stroll or a coffee stop. One directory also mentions parking spaces 292 meters away and the S-Bahn-Freising 514 meters away. This indicates that arriving by car or public transport is practically possible. However, those coming by car should still plan some time for parking search, as is usual in urban areas; those arriving by train have a well-understandable orientation nearby. This location in Fischergasse is also very advantageous for guests using the café as a meeting point for a culinary tour or as a starting point for a walk through Freising. ([speisekarte.de](https://www.speisekarte.de/freising/restaurant/junkers_cafe_fischergasse_freising/speisekarte))

Those searching for menu, photos, address, directions, or parking receive not only a practical answer but also a place with its own handwriting and recognizable character. This is what makes the location in Freising so interesting: it is a café during the day, an uncomplicated enjoyment spot at lunchtime, a stage in the evening, and even an event location outside of opening hours. For guests who appreciate regionality, craftsmanship, and atmosphere, the Junkers Café is therefore one of the most prominent addresses in Fischergasse. What a fabulous little cafe, a really pretty spot, particularly if you manage to get an outdoor table, very friendly staff who were really patient with translating the menu for us. One of the cakes was a little dry but the others were delicious. If I was local I would go there all the time 🥰.

Very cute town. Beautiful location. Atmospheric local. And best iced coffee I've had in my life! Go for the "Iced Coffee Special" with hazelnut ice cream, you will not regret it. Made that 9h layover well worth it.
