Registration at the Music School Freising: Online Form, Deadlines, and Consultation

When searching for registration Music School Freising, the official website is the most important starting point. There, you will find an online registration, a registration form as a fillable PDF, as well as additional documents such as statutes, fee regulations, and supplementary materials. The secretariat answers questions regarding new, transfer, and re-registrations by phone at 08161/54-20000 or via email at musikschule@freising.de. The office hours are clearly indicated: Mondays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This makes the path to registration easily accessible and well-planned for families, whether it concerns the first music lesson or a switch to a new subject. ([musikschule.freising.de](https://musikschule.freising.de/anmeldung?utm_source=openai))

It is also practical that the Music School Freising not only offers digital forms but also clearly explains on the website how interested parties can orient themselves. For the school year 2025/2026, new registrations were made possible through online registration or the PDF; at the same time, the school points out that for individual instruments, ballet, and courses in Elementary Music Education, inquiries may still be worthwhile even after the actual registration deadline. Additionally, the current week of open doors from May 4 to 8, 2026, invites people to experience lessons live and ask questions directly to teachers. So, those dealing with the keyword registration Freising not only receive a form but also a genuine consulting offer with personal orientation. Children's Programs at the Music School Freising: Early Start with EMP and Instrument Carousel

The search interest in Music School Freising children hits exactly the core of the offering. The music school offers elementary music education for children from two years old to primary school age. For the youngest, there are parent-child groups where music, language, and movement are experienced together with a familiar caregiver. Kindergarten and primary school children later discover the musical world in groups with peers. This early, gentle entry is important because it focuses not on performance but on perception, joy, and shared experiences. Those who get to know music as a playground often find it much easier to transition into later instrumental lessons. For this reason, the Music School Freising has been known for many years as a place where musical education begins early and is built up step by step. ([musikschule.freising.de](https://musikschule.freising.de/elementare-musikpaedagogik))

Especially relevant for families is also the instrument carousel. It bridges the gap between early musical orientation and later main subject instruction. Children can get to know various instruments and find out which subject suits them before they make a commitment. This form of orientation is not only pedagogically sensible but also helpful for parents seeking a good decision for their child's start. The Music School Freising explicitly describes its concept as stepwise and oriented towards the framework curricula of the Association of German Music Schools. This makes it clear: the children's programs are not an isolated addition but the foundation of a well-thought-out educational path that leads from early education to instrumental or vocal instruction. Lessons, Ensembles, and Ballet: An Overview of the Musical Offerings

Those looking for Music School Freising lessons will find a wide-ranging offer for different age groups and music styles. Main subject instruction is organized as individual and group lessons and provides space for development, individual support, and musical expression. In addition, there are various areas of Elementary Music Education, instruments and singing, ensembles, ballet, voluntary performance assessments, and supplementary offerings. The school thus sees itself not only as a place for initial access to music but also as a structured learning space for continuous development. Particularly important is the connection between professional guidance, regular practice, and the joint making of music, which plays a central role in the educational concept. ([musikschule.freising.de](https://musikschule.freising.de/unterricht))

The ensemble offerings are another focus and fit perfectly with search queries such as Music School Freising ensembles. Ensemble subjects in all age groups and styles are considered an important complement to individual and instrumental instruction. Participation is free for students who are registered in main subject instruction. Offerings include string ensemble, woodwind ensemble, brass ensemble, plucked ensemble, youth wind orchestra, and bands. This makes the Music School particularly attractive for all who want not only to practice but also to perform together and experience musical community. Additionally, ballet and musical theater are included, resulting in a vibrant artistic spectrum that goes far beyond classical instruction. Rental Instruments, Fees, and Discounts in Freising

A common practical topic when searching for Music School Freising rental instruments is the question of the first suitable instrument. The music school has a small selection of instruments that can be rented for a fee. There are specific online forms for rental applications, instrument exchanges, and returns. The team also provides advice on availability and rental fees, so families do not have to purchase their own instrument immediately. This is particularly helpful for beginners, as it allows them to find out whether an instrument truly suits the child. The rental instruments are thus not just a service but an important part of the low-threshold access to lessons. ([musikschule.freising.de](https://musikschule.freising.de/service-anmeldung/leihinstrumente))

The fee structure is also transparently regulated. Instruction at the Music School Freising is financed through a subsidy from the City of Freising and parental fees; additionally, the Free State of Bavaria supports the personnel costs. The amount of the fees depends on the type of instruction, duration, and place of residence. For students with their main residence in the city area of Freising, a reduced fee rate applies. The contributions apply for a full school year from September to August and are due in four installments, namely on November 15, January 15, March 15, and June 15. Additionally, sibling, multiple, and social discounts are provided. Ensemble, choir, and orchestra are free for children and adolescents who attend instrumental or singing lessons. This results in a fairly structured model that makes musical education planable. ([musikschule.freising.de](https://musikschule.freising.de/service-anmeldung/gebuehren?utm_source=openai))

Events, Musical Life, and the Week of Open Doors

The Music School Freising is much more than a place of instruction. On the homepage, it is described as a place of making music, music education, and cultural encounters. About 160 events per year show how strongly the house is anchored in the cultural life of the city. These include concerts, performances, orchestra projects, and other musical activities. The website also highlights current announcements and events, including the Freising Symphony Orchestra and other musical formats. This makes the music school particularly interesting for all who are not only looking for lessons but also for a vibrant music scene closely related to the city. ([musikschule.freising.de](https://musikschule.freising.de/?utm_source=openai))

A good entry point for families, children, and the curious is the week of open doors. The City of Freising currently informs that it will take place from May 4 to 8, 2026, and will provide insights into lessons, ballet, and the wide range of subjects daily from 2 PM to 6 PM. Interested parties can listen, watch, and ask questions directly to the teachers. For many, this is the best way to get a real impression of the daily lesson routine and find out which instrument or course fits. I go to the parent-child group with my almost four-year-old son at Anna's, and it's truly an experience for both the kids and parents every time - the kids talk about it all week! Everything is really nice, child-friendly, and educationally valuable. It makes everyone excited about music!

Great offerings, fair prices. Especially noteworthy: the ballet classes and their beautiful performances. Criticism: Mandatory attendance of the basic music courses (2 years) before one can learn or deepen an instrument. In musical families, this is absolutely unnecessary!! This forces parents to look for private teachers, as the music school denies the child admission for an instrument.
